A friend mentioned a physio she loved. My mum passed on a restaurant worth trying. A colleague said "you have to check this place out." All real, all from people I trusted — and all gone. Buried in texts, group chats, conversations I'd never find again when I actually needed them.

I wasn't frustrated with Google. I was frustrated with forgetting. The people around me knew things — and were quietly passing them on all the time. It just kept disappearing.

I didn't want another review platform. I wanted a way to hold onto what the people I trust actually pass on.

So I built Odin. Quietly, on evenings and weekends. Not to compete with algorithms — but to replace them with something better: the people you already trust.
